Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Flint Hills is seeking its next dynamic and talented Executive Director. The Executive Director provides leadership, direction, and coordination for all agency programs and initiatives. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising staff; developing, managing, and providing accounting for the agency budget; developing and maintaining strategic community partnerships; writing grants and soliciting donations; administering agency and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America policies, procedures, and
standards; assessing program quality, effectiveness, and youth outcomes; and coordinating marketing and public relations. This position reports to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Flint Hills Board of Directors and requires some evening and weekend work. Salary Range: $30,000 - $35,000, based on experience, education, and qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (degree in social work, counseling, sociology, psychology, business administration, or related field preferred), experience with budget development and management, strong organizational and time management skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and capacity for organizational leadership.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in or with non-profit organizations, writing grants, marketing and/or public relations, and supervising staff.
