The Granada Theatre is in search of an individual to fill the role of Assistant Director. This is a full-time position. Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description: 

  • Form partnerships with local businesses and organizations creating events for the

community.

  • Delegate tasks for volunteers and employees to tackle major events and day-to-day activities.
  • Acquire and secure donors, keeping an up to date and accurate list for our records.
  • Resolve customer orientated questions and issues: ticket sales, future events/ rentals, and donor relations.
  • Handel deposits, keeping precise track of day-to-day and event sales.
  • Secure rentals, this includes: making sure all needs are met, events are properly staffed, the floor is cleaned and set accordingly, contracts are signed, and funds are totaled correctly according to needs and received.
  • Organize and coordinate small activities, ie. Bingo Nights. Working with minimal

budgets ($100 or less) and profiting over $2,000.

  • Ensure operational supplies are kept, maintenance supplies to maintaining an organized bar area; order supplies and ensuring stock is kept and up to date.
  • During events work ticket sales, bar, crowd control, handle customer issues, anything else that could possibly arise (and have fun!)
