Elaborate choreography and effective use of shadows were centerstage for a performance from Catapult at Albert Taylor Hall on Friday evening.
Catapult is an ensemble of talented dancers who perform behind a screen to create shadow silhouettes of many different shapes we see around the world. Catapult first shot into the spotlight on America’s Got Talent, where they went on to become finalists on the popular television show.
Their incredible act came to Emporia courtesy of the Emporia Arts Council (EAC) as part of the 2019-2020 Performing Arts Series.
Next up on the EAC’s Performing Arts Series will be the Tap Pack, performing at the Emporia Granada Theatre on Mar. 10 at 7:00 pm. More information on the Emporia Arts Council can be found online at emporiaksarts.org.
