DESCRIPTION OF JOB
Under the direction of the Planning and Zoning Administrator, The Property Maintenance Inspector's duties will involve enforcement of the City's Property Maintenance Codes. This employee will receives and responds to complaints relating to the City's Property Maintenance Codes, inspects property to determine any violation of the City's Property Maintenance Codes and implement and enforcement provisions of the City's Property Maintenance Codes when violations are found to exist, including appearance in and representing the City at court trials.
STANDARDS FOR INITIAL CONSIDERATION
$††††††††† Three to Five years of code enforcement experience required.
$††††††††† Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
$ †††††††††Experience in tactfully managing customer issues and complaints.
$††††††††† The ability to stoop, climb, crouch and balance when performing inspections.
$††††††††† High School Diploma or GED is required.
$††††††††† Possess a
