The Salvation Army's kettle campaign has proven successful this holiday season. Lt. Lynn Lopez told KVOE News Tuesday that the campaign had exceeded their goal, topping out at $42,245.
Lopez said that number will rise by the end of the day, when they pull in the day's kettles.
This news coincides with the KVOE-Kari's Family Christmas for Families in Need, where the Salvation Army received gifts for four families Tuesday.
The kettle campaign ended today, but you can still donate to the Salvation Army. Contact Lopez at 342-3093 for more information.
