Emporia State University now has a new way for students to request and receive their transcripts.
A new system called Ellucian e-Transcripts will allow students to access and receive their transcripts online 24/7. The process takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
Registrar Elaine Henry says it's a very secure and versatile program.
Henry says response has been almost overwhelming, with the Records office working to keep up with demand, because of the quick turnaround time.
Emporia State was a beta site for the implementation of this process, and a previous partner with the National Student Clearinghouse and Ellucian, which provides the Banner administrative system the school uses. This makes ESU the first Banner client to offer the transcript service.
