Public input still needed for library services

The Emporia Public Library has been hearing from the public about what services residents enjoy, and what they would like to see.

Library Director Sue Blechl says they've received only 260 responses so far, from people of all ages and locations.

Blechl said people have been leaving many positive comments, as well as suggestions for things they'd like to see, including extended hours, more parking space, and e-books.

Blechl said the goal is to get better and provide more services, but money and resources are an issue.

To participate, go online to www.emporialibrary.org. For information, call 340-6462.

Blechl will be live on 14 KVOE at 10:05am Thursday morning, to promote the Spring Book Sale in April.
