EHS inducts Lowther, Hartsook into Hall of Fame

There are two new members in Emporia High's Hall of Fame after induction activities Thursday morning.


Jim Lowther, Class of 1947, was inducted Thursday. He urged current students to keep learning.

Also inducted was Bob Hartsook, who graduated in 1966. He says the honor left him with a mix of emotions.

Lowther was a veteran and is a retired advertising and banking executive. He also served eight terms in the Kansas House.

Hartsook owns the fundraising consulting firm Hartsook Inc. and is a published author and leading speaker on philanthropy matters.
