Lucas Moody to become first male director of Child Advocacy Center

SOS has a "new guy" on staff. Lucas Moody has joined the organization as director of the Child Advocacy Center.

Moody has a bachelor's in sociology of family and child, and a master's in mental health counseling from Emporia State. Moody has over 10 years of experience in the social services field. He says this is his dream job.

Moody will become the first male director of the Child Advocacy Center. SOS Executive Director Connie Cahoone says that will be a nice change of pace.

The first order of business for Moody will be getting their multidisciplinary teams and child protective teams comfortable, and on the right track.
