On Thursday, Nov. 7, Williams hosted a benefit event at Orange Leaf for the Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas. Orange Leaf would donate a portion of its proceeds earned from 6 to 8 pm to the chapter. Donation totals are pending.

Williams' 8-year old daughter, Jacey, developed the condition after having a brain tumor removed at a very early age.

Epilepsy can cause seizures of varying magnitude, some more violent than others. Over 200,000 people in Kansas and Missouri are said to have epilepsy, and about 2 million people live with the condition in the U.S.

Williams says there is hope.
