Cars lined Commercial Street and crowds turned out to admire their exteriors, interiors and mechanical components. Car show participant Tom Marstall, of Waskarusa, Kansas, skipped the drag races with his friends to attend the show. His 1940 Ford Standard business coupe took him about 5 years of labor to build. He explains why he chose this particular automobile.
