Donald Lee Scott pleads no contest to lesser charges on Tuesday at Lyon County District Court

A man that was originally accused of robbery and burglary pleads no contest to lesser charges in Lyon County District Court.

Donald Lee Scott pleaded no contest yesterday to a single count of criminal threat. Other charges were dismissed with prejudice. This means the other charges cannot be refiled in court. Scott's trouble with the law took place last April.

Court documents say officers were called to the Finish Line convenience store at 423 West Sixth after an incident during a child exchange visit where a woman reported being threatened. Scott then allegedly took her purse and cell phone.

His sentencing hearing is on October 5 at 9 AM. Scott's defense attorney is Deborah Huth, while the assistant county attorney is Jonathan Noble.
