A Lyon County judge has sentenced the lone female convicted in an alleged kidnapping and beating incident from last November involving an Emporia teenager.

On Tuesday, Judge Jeffry Larson sentenced Selena Hernandez to 24 months probation. In May, Hernandez pleaded no contest to a charge of aiding and abetting an aggravated battery. The sentence includes 12 months with the Department of Corrections and 12 months postrelease supervision.

Attorney fees were waived and Hernandez was ordered to pay $200 in court fees and $45 for processing. As a condition of her sentencing, she's also been ordered to have no contact with any other co-defendants, the victim and the victim's family.

Another co-defendant in the case, Jonathan Manzano, charged with aggravated battery and attempted aggravated robbery will be sentenced at 9 a.m. July 26.
