The Humane Society are helping keep pets warm

With temperatures getting colder the Emporia Humane Society are saying what the hay.

The organization will be giving out free hay to pet owners at East Emporia Veterinary clinic Saturday.  The purpose of the event is to help pet owners keep their animals warm and safe as winter approaches.

Humane Society member Judy Dieker says they strive to make the giveaway as convenient as possible.
