The third annual Film on the Field is fighting hunger.

 The third annual Film on the Field, Thursday night in Olpe, is fighting hunger.


Event entry cost is one non-perishable food item that will be donate to the Hartford Food Pantry.  Agricultural Science teacher at Olpe High School Mandy Kern said the goal of the event is to fight hunger.

Kern said the event is suppose to teach kids the importance of public service while having fun.

Future Farmers of America, 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant, and Early Childhood Education have been working together to organise the event hosted on Olpe High School Football field. Activities like face painting, pony rides, pumpkin bowling will start at 6 P.M. and the feature film, Moana, starting at 7 P.M. Thursday.
