The Emporia Symphony Orchestra led off the concert at the Granada Theatre, playing classics like "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," as well as the Mannheim Steamroller adaptation of "Silent Night," selections from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra favorite "Christmas in Sarajevo."
After an intermission, the A Capella Choir came to the stage and both groups engaged the audience in a sing-along.
The theater was full for the performance Tuesday night, and it will likely be full for two upcoming holiday concerts. Shenandoah is bringing its Good Ole Fashioned Christmas to town Friday night. The Emporia Municipal Band has its annual Christmas concert Sunday afternoon.
