Travel conditions have improved since a wintry mix of precipitation coated the area Wednesday night and Thursday morning, but road conditions are still slick in spots.

*Steve's Trash Service will run Thursday's routes in Lebo and Olpe on Friday

In Emporia, main arterials and the more heavily-traveled residential collector streets had a lot of improvements as sunshine helped traction materials. Slick spots are more widespread on residential streets and at intersections. Bridges and overpasses may be slick Friday.
