The first Legislative Dialogue of the year is coming Saturday.

The Sauder Alumni Center will be the host site for the legislative forum, which lets local and area lawmakers update their constituents on different topics of note in Topeka and also lets residents ask questions about matters important to them.

Lyon County's contingent of Senate Vice President Jeff Longbine and Representatives Mark Schreiber, Ron Highland and Eric Smith have all been invited to participate.

A light breakfast will be served starting at 8 am with the discussion starting at 8:30. Dialogues are organized by the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce's Government Matters Committee and the Emporia League of Women Voters.
