If you're hungry Saturday morning then the local Boy Scouts Troop 157 has the answer.

The troop will be holding their annual pancake feed Saturday morning. Scout Master Leon Bryson was a recent guest of KVOE's Newsmaker segment and explains funds from the event help to pay for summer camps and campouts for troop members.

Bryson became involved with Boy Scouts after his son decided to join. He says being involved in Boy Scouts has provided tremendous benefits for both his son and himself.

For the second year in a row, the troop will also be holding a special food drive in memory Leroy Gardner, a member of First Christian Church who passed away last year.

The pancake feed begins at 6 am inside First Christian Church at 202 E. 12th Ave. and will run until 12:30. The cost of tickets is $5 in advance and $6 at the door for all you can eat pancakes.

For advanced tickets contact First Christian Church at 620-342-1582 or speak to a local Boy Scout member.
