Funds continue to roll in for the SOS Stronger Together Campaign as it nears two-thirds of its end goal.

Coming into fruition over the past few years, SOS has formulated a plan to consolidate all four of its branches around Emporia into one building. This move will make navigating the different SOS programs simpler the people who need their services, and unfortunately, the demand for these services are on the rise.

SOS is the umbrella organization over the following branches here in Emporia:

  • Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Flint Hills
  • Crisis Services including safety shelters and outreach, prevention, and education programs
  • Child Advocacy Center
  • Child Visitation and Exchange Center

The campaign has made some headway towards meeting its goal, and SOS Director Connie Cahoone gives a status update on the progress.

There are several ways to donate or pledge to the Stronger Together Campaign and the deadline to support the cause is December 1st. Cahoone says there are many ways to get in contact to donate.

SOS will move into the building at 1420 C of E Drive, and to reiterate, call Connie Cahoone at (620) 343-8799 or visit SOSKansas.com for more information on the campaign or SOS itself.
