Two Lyon County Most Wanted suspects recently captured, third at large Featured

Two men recently placed on the Lyon County Most Wanted list have been captured. Another recent addition remains at large at this time.

Tony Ray Smith, added to the wanted list a week ago, was arrested this past weekend on a warrant for suspicion of violating the Kansas Offender Registration Act. Formal charges are pending.

Also, 40-year-old Derek Stefan is now in Kansas Department of Corrections custody, according to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office. Stefan was wanted on suspicion of child sexual exploitation. Details about his return to Lyon County for court proceedings are pending.

Meanwhile, the search continues for one new addition to the list. Robert Jones III is wanted on suspicion of aggravated battery.

Jones is a black male. The 30-year-old is 6-foot-3, 275 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his back and left arm. Jones has convictions in Lyon and Sedgwick counties for drug and contraband possession.
