A combination of seasonally warm and extremely humid air is expanding heat advisories issued this weekend.

Lyon and Coffey counties are in an advisory until 8 pm. Both counties, along with Osage County, are also in a heat advisory from 1-8 pm Monday.

Meanwhile, Chase and Greenwood counties in a separate advisory until 7 pm Monday.

Heat index readings Monday could be 105-110 degrees as air temperatures push to the mid-90s.

Meanwhile, a marginal risk of severe weather -- mainly wind -- for Sunday evening and again Monday morning. 

Sunday morning activity stayed below severe limits, but storms dumped anywhere from nearly an inch to almost three inches of rain in several rounds. Over 600 Westar and Lyon-Coffey customers from Emporia south to Olpe and east to Lebo and Neosho Rapids lost power due to storms before sunrise. Less than 15 Lyon-Coffey customers in Lyon and Coffey counties remain offline as of Sunday evening.
