Potential court dates have been scheduled for a man accused of several burglaries or attempted burglaries in Emporia this year.

Nicholas Allen Hall, 30, may go to trial Oct. 28 or Dec. 12, depending on the results of upcoming hearings. He was set for trial as part of a pretrial hearing Tuesday.

Hall is accused of burglary, theft and criminal damage after TP Jewelry and Pawn had jewelry and other items stolen May 9 and Kari's Diamonds and Bridal had jewelry stolen May 16. He's also accused of attempted burglary of the Mr. G's Car Wash, 716 East 12th, on May 10 and Giefer's Car Wash, 101 South Commercial, on May 16.

Co-defendant Lesli Fontenot, also accused of burglary, theft and criminal damage for her alleged involvement in the TP Jewelry, Kari’s and Mr. G’s incidents, has a pretrial hearing Aug. 23. Trial dates for Fontenot could be scheduled as part of that hearing.
