The Lyon County Planning and Appeals Board will have a meeting Wednesday night.

Board members will review a text change to the Joint Comprehensive Plan which would remove all mention of 40-acre minimums, replacing that language to allow for development of land parcels not less than five acres for single-family dwellings in an agricultural district with a density of no more than 16 such residences per square mile. The new standard would be subject to approval for lot divisions.

Separately, the board will hear a request from Danny Broyles for a setback variance for an accessory structure in the 800 block of Road G.

The meeting is at 7 pm at the Bowyer Building.
