Emporia Arts Center Director Dawn Young got to hear some of the most iconic words in American game show history during a trip to Los Angeles earlier this summer.

Yes, Young was on The Price is Right back in August. She says she and her husband were originally hoping to get into the James Corden Show but decided to get in the line for the afternoon taping of The Price is Right after the other line sold out. She was floored when her name was called.

The first item Young could bid on was a set of sunglasses.

Before getting into the audience, Young had to go through several rounds of vetting, including an initial discussion with staff, a demonstration of how the contestant reacts to winning $1 million, a second Q-and-A session and -- if lucky -- seating inside the auditorium.

Young says the experience was "magical and fabulous," especially because she talked briefly with host Drew Carey about the work of the Arts Center, including bringing one of Carey's favorite bands, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, to Emporia for a concert earlier this year.
