One suspect in a robbery case from earlier this year is set for sentencing next year, while another will see their case continue.

Daniel McClead pled no contest to two counts of robbery during a final pre-trial hearing in Lyon County District Court Wednesday. He is set for sentencing on Feb. 14.

Meanwhile, Ruby Garza has had her case continued until Jan. 14. Both McClead and Garza were charged in connection with two alleged robberies of Casey's convenience store on South Commercial and one alleged robbery of Angelina's Fashion in June.

McClead originally faced three counts each of aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, while Garza has been charged with single counts of aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and possession of stolen property.

Another defendant, Gustavo Perez-Garcia, has a pretrial hearing Jan. 2 on three counts of aggravated robbery and three more counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.
