Trial set to begin Monday in Emporia robbery case Featured

Trial is set to begin Monday for a man accused of robbing an Emporia convenience store last year.


Harold Stewart, 44, is accused of robbing the Max's BP convenience store in downtown Emporia in February 2019. He has been charged with a single count of aggravated robbery.

Unless a late plea agreement is reached or a delay is announced, jury selection will begin shortly after 9 am with opening arguments to follow.
