Jury trial in an aggravated robbery case from February is now underway in Lyon County District Court.

Jury selection in the case of Harold Stewart began Monday morning. Opening arguments are scheduled to begin shortly after jury selection comes to an end.

At least three late delays have pushed back the start of trial in the case over the past year. Stewart is accused of robbing the Max's BP convenience store on Feb. 19. Court documents provided to KVOE News indicate a man later identified as Stewart advised the store clerk he had a gun and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and the man fled. Shortly before the alleged robbery, Stewart allegedly tried to buy items from the store with a credit card that was declined.

Stewart was arrested May 1 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
