The dominos are falling in place for the 8th annual SOS Kansas Hope-A-Palooza coming up in February.

Hope-A-Palooza is a formal fundraising event for the organization to assist in its mission to empower and advocate for those affected by sexual and domestic violence, child abuse and neglect. These funds help clients in ways that traditional grants can't, says Executive Director Connie Cahoone.

Hope-A-Palooza will have a Roaring 20s theme to match the turn of the decade. Cocktails and pictures will begin at 5:30 pm, followed shortly by dinner, a silent auction, a live auction, and more. Cahoone gives the price of tickets, as well as previews some of the auction items.

A table package can be purchased for $500 for a group of eight people. The silent auction will be taking place online, and anyone - not just attendees - will be able to bid online.

Hope-A-Palooza will take place on Feb. 22 at Emporia State University's Webb Hall. Tickets will go on sale starting Jan. 24, and tickets must be purchased in advance from either the SOS website or by stopping by their office. Visit soskansas.com or call (620) 343-8799 for more information.
