An update on operations at Emporia State University will highlight the Emporia City Commission's study session Wednesday morning.

President Allison Garrett will present the update before commissioners begin setting dates for goal-setting sessions. Discussions regarding the replacement and rehabilitation of lift stations 1, 2, 5 and 15 will also take place.

Both stations 1 and 2 are over 40-years-old and have had no significant rehabilitation since they were put into service back in the 1970s. Commissioners will also discuss the chip seal program and alley maintenance.

The meeting begins at 10 am inside city conference room 1AB at White Auditorium.
