CORONAVIRUS: Chase County has flat week-to-week numbers, while Greenwood County sees 13 recovered patients Centers for Disease Control and Prevention graphic

Two area counties had good news with their latest coronavirus reports, while a third area county saw an increase in its overall caseload.

*Chase County remained level with 81 total cases, 59 at the Chase County Detention Center and 22 in the community. The number of active cases, both overall and at the Detention Center, dipped from five to three. The death toll remained at one.
*Greenwood County remained at 45 cases and cleared all 13 active cases from last week.
*Morris County’s overall caseload went from 25 last week to 27 Monday. The number of active cases remains at two.
*Coffey County is now reporting COVID-19 updates on Fridays. It has 101 total cases, 11 active cases and eight deaths.
*Osage County has not reported as of 5 pm Monday. It has 74 total cases and nine active cases.
*Wabaunsee County had not reported as 5 pm Monday. It has 65 total cases, seven active cases and one death.
