The keynote speaker was Esther Luttrell, a former Hollywood screenwriter who now writes murder mysteries, inspirational novels, and even children's books. Lutrell's keynote address was under the subject matter entitled "Happy on Purpose."
Luttrell did not become a published writer until she was 64 years old. Her husband left her at that age, and he left her with only $1 in her entire bank account.
This led to a climax in Luttrell's life, where she eventually wrote the book Murder in the Movies.

As for her Hollywood career, Luttrell's big break in Hollywood came for her simply asking herself, "What type of job would make me the happiest in the world?"
