2017 Prairieland Partners John Deere Gator Rally raises over $30,000

The annual Prairieland Partners John Deere Gator Rally raised over $30,000 for two special beneficiaries.

Nik Roth, general manager, says that they raised $33,000 for Emporia Child Care Center and Lyon County Special Olympics. Tickets sold out for the Rally in April. It has become a popular fundraiser for the area because there is nothing like it, according to Roth.

There were 16 gators that went out each evening to explore the beauty of the Flint Hills.

Roth says that this event is not possible without the support of the community and the landowners that allow Prairieland Partners to explore with their gators.
