Steve Sauder says the scholarships are part of his father's continued legacy to help ESU athletics.  Sauder says the scholarships help the best and brightest student-athletes at ESU.  Earl's daughter Pam Matlock says the scholarhsip luncheon is a very exciting time, each year.

   Senior football player Morris Williams says the scholarhsip means a lot and helps take off some of the financial burden.

     The Earl W. Sauder Athletic Scholarship Program was established by the late Earl Sauder as part of the 2004 Emporia State "Building Blocks for Success" student scholarship campaign.
