Lyon County commissioners could make the latest payment for a new 911 emergency call handling system as part of their action session Thursday.
Emergency Communication Center Director Roxanne VanGundy will present a $73,000 request towards that end as the county replaces its aging system. The system should be up and running by this summer.
In other business, commissioners could approve the purchase of four printers and related equipment for the Motor Vehicle Department at an estimated cost of around $6,500. County Engineer Chip Woods will also offer a proposal for corrugated metal pipe culverts.
Reports and two executive sessions are also planned.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse.
