Emporia city commissioners have an action session Wednesday afternoon with a range of topics to discuss.
Commissioners may finalize plans to distribute Community Development Block Grant funds through the federal CARES Act coronavirus relief package.
In addition, commissioners could approve a resolution to purchase industrial revenue bonds issued in 2015 for S&S Meats as Fanestil expands its complex in the 4700 block of West US Highway 50. Commissioners could then issue a new set of taxable industrial revenue bonds to retire those issued five years ago.
Commissioners also may approve an application for $250,000 in moderate income housing funds through the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation.
The meeting is at 1:30 pm at the Municipal Court Room.
