Cody Allen Risner now has a reward for his “successful apprehension and prosecution.”
Risner, 27, was scheduled for a final pretrial hearing Wednesday on an aggravated battery charge stemming from an alleged stabbing incident in the 1200 block of Triplett Drive from early October. Risner, who was on an own recognizance bond, was not present for that hearing and a bench warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.
Lyon County Crime Stoppers has issued a reward of up to $1,000 in Risner’s case. If you have information, call Emporia Police at 343-4200 or Crime Stoppers at 342-2273. You can also use www.p3tips.com or the P3Tips mobile app.
Risner’s trial was supposed to start Monday. His next trial setting is March 2.
