A Silver Alert was issued shortly before noon statewide for the Heathmans. That was canceled about 2:30 pm.
Welsh credited everybody for the information provided by concerned citizens. He says the Heathmans' landline phone was not working and they do not have cell phones. He urged people to have ways they can be reached in case of questions or emergencies.
Noon Thursday: Silver Alert posted for Lyon County couple
Law enforcement officials across Kansas are looking for a north Lyon County couple that hasn't been heard from since Valentine's Day.

The couple was last seen driving a white 2016 Dodge Journey with disabled tags. Both have a history of heart problems.
