An Emporia woman has been sentenced for her involvement in an arson case that took place last fall.
Catherine Martin was sentenced Friday morning in Lyon County District Court to two years in prison and 18 months of probation with community corrections.
Martin pleaded no contest to arson and explosives after fire damaged her home at 4 South Exchange on Oct. 13. The co-owner of that home, David Collier also faces a preliminary hearing on May 22 for arson and explosives counts and also faces a preliminary hearing that day for aggravated battery charges in a separate alleged incident.
