The Kansas Turnpike Authority announced this week that their K-TAG now works on all Texas toll roads.
That may be good news for Kansans planning to take a trip this summer or Memorial Day weekend. Customers who use multiple transponders to travel in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas are asked to remove all but one transponder to prevent double billing issues.
The expanded use for K-TAG is due to the creation of the Central States Hub between the three states. The Kansas Turnpike Authority says the hub took more than 18 months to implement to ease travel for the summer season.
