EHS Band to try out unique type of fundraiser

Emporia High School band members are preparing for a new type of fundraiser for their organization.
Students will be selling mattresses on Saturday to help fundraise for the band and for students to have the oppurtunity to see the Drum Corps International finals next year.
Robert Haselhuhn, Emporia High Band Director, said that the new approach is nice for a fundraiser which isn't always the easiest.

Haselhuhn also said that the idea was given to him through another participant who was successful with the fundraiser.

The mattress sale will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at EHS. All beds are brand new and the band will offer layaway for new beds.
