Emporia man fighting extradition to Nebraska to face charges of manufacturing child pornography

An Emporia man accused of taking explicit photos and video of a woman and a teenage girl at an Omaha, Neb. gym made his first appearance in Lyon County District Court Monday.
James Bryce Fogg, 27, is challenging the state of Nebraska's attempts to have him extradited to face charges which include the manufacture of child pornography. Omaha Police say the photos were taken between November 2016 and July of this year.
The case has been sent down for a review on Aug. 15 at 1:30 p.m. Fogg will remain in Lyon County Jail until that hearing after no bond was authorized.
Fogg was employed at the Omaha gym prior to moving to Emporia where he also worked for a few months as gymnastics coach for Sunflower Gymnastics. The company dismissed him upon learning of his arrest last Thursday.
