Collier sentenced to probation for arson and explosives charges

An Emporia man has received 24 months probation for his involvement in an arson case from last October.

David Collier was sentenced Thursday after pleading to charges of arson, explosives and conspiracy to commit arson in July. The incident stemmed from Oct. 13 at 4 South Exchange.
Collier has an underlying prison term of 34 months, meaning he goes to prison if he violates probation.
