Emporia Police find nothing suspicious in search of FHTC campus Monday

A search of Flint Hills Technical College's properties Monday did not warrant anything suspicious or out of the ordinary.
Those are the words of the Emporia Police Department who said Tuesday that authorities thoroughly searched each of the college's properties including the main campus, the downtown campus and the Adult Education Center. Sgt. Lisa Sage says police at FHTC staff worked well together to keep students, staff and visitors safe.
Sgt. Sage encourages the public to always report anything suspicious to authorities.
The FHTC campus was back to normal operations as of Tuesday morning.
