The United Way of the Flint Hills is moving full steam ahead toward its annual campaign goal.
As of today (MON) the United Way was at nearly 39 percent of its campaign goal of $580,000. Executive director Jami Reever says it's astonishing how far they've come in a short amount of time.
Reever says 11 of the Pacesetters have turned in their workplace campaign packets, with nine of them seeing significant increases in giving this year.
Dine United returns this week for the second of four fundraising events this month benefitting the United Way of the Flint Hills. On Thursday, the Olpe Chicken House will donate 15 percent of its sales from 11 to 8 p.m. to the United Way campaign.
