FHTC students got a chance to meet hopeful local candidates

Candidates in local elections were at Flint Hills Technical College Thursday to meet with students one on one.
FHTC student Joshua Peterson believes the event makes it easier to choose a candidate to support.
Candidates met with students to discuss their policy stances, field questions, and help students register to vote. FHTC student Caley Johnson knows what she is looking for in a candidate.
Voter registration closes October 17 and the general election day is November 7. Stay tuned to KVOE to keep up to date with election news.
