ESU seeing success with exchange music program

A new international program at Emporia State University is thriving.


The ESU music department is seeing great success from its newest exchange program with Zhejiang Normal University in Jinhua, China. The exchange students took part in their first concert in November, featuring all traditional Chinese music. Department Chair Dr. Alan Comstock was a recent guest on the ESU Buzz and says he is excited for the knowledge of traditional Chinese instruments the ZJNU students bring with them.


Exchange student and program participant Tianai Li was also a guest on ESU Buzz and says she appreciates the relaxed enviroment ESU proffessors create for their students.


Dr. Comstock explains how students are selected for the program.
