The Emporia School Board will receive information on recent audits when it meets Wednesday evening.
The district will hear five audit updates from the Kansas Department of Education involving special education entitlements, fiscal spending, term minutes by school, technical education and SO66 weighted enrollment summary. The school board also plans to begin selecting members to serve on a facilities needs assessment committee, following last month's board decision to hire an architectural firm to assist with conducting a needs assessment.
The board also is planning discussion on a Hopkins Foundation Tuition Assistance Program and the possibility of including a summer driver's education program in the district.
Two executive sessions are planned. The school board meeting begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mary Herbert Education Center.
