Lady Hornets suffer 1st loss

The Emporia State womens basketball team is unbeaten no more. The Lady Hornets were upset by Northeastern State 59-44 Wednesday night.

The Lady Hornets trailed the whole game. They did have a chance to take the lead at the start of the second half but could not get their shots to fall. They would shoot 24 percent for the game making 15 of 61 fieldgoals. Coach Jory Collins said the missed shots was only part of the reason they suffered their first loss.
