Emporia Energy tunes up for Heartland World Series

The Emporia Energy 16 year old team tuned up for Heartland World Series winning 4 of 6 games played in round robin tournament over the weekend.
 
Sunday the Energy 16s defeated Team Kansas 6-3, Lost to Chase County 4-2 and defeated the Mudhens 5-0.
Coach Troy Chapman says they have made progress during the summer.
 
 
The 16s will take a 15 and 12 record into the Heartland World series that begins Thursday in Kansas City.
The Chase County Explosion will also be playing in the Heartland World Series.
Chase County own 5 of the 6 games they played in the round robin tournament.
